Trick Or Treat So Kids Can Eat (TOTSKCE)

Oct 20, 2017

Trick or Treat So Kids Can Eat (TOTSKCE) is an annual student-run food drive on October 31st organized by Round Rock High School Thespians. Participants will travel in costume with other student drivers to local neighborhoods and collect donation items for the Round Rock Area Service Center. In the past two years alone, we have collected over 4,000 pounds of donations. TOTSKCE is open to every student on campus and has become a staple in establishing RRHS’ excellence in fostering a deeper outreach to our community.

Participants will meet in the 1100 cafeteria promptly at 6:00 PM on Halloween to receive brief instructions before departing and arrive back at the school between 9:00 PM and 10:00 PM. Drivers will attend a short, mandatory informational meeting about routes and passengers on October 17th or 19th at 8:30 AM in fords theatre(100 building). All participants must sign up in order to receive credit for service hours.

For as long as RRHS Thespians have put on this event, we have remained both successful and safe. In order to stay up-to-date on event information and to ensure safety, we ask that all participants sign up for the TOTSKCE Remind101 by texting “@totskce” to 810-10. Anyone may use Remind before and during the event to ask questions and let us know if anything goes wrong. If any parents or students have questions or specific needs regarding student participation, please contact us via Remind, social media (@rrhsthespians on Instagram and Twitter), or at troupe3543@gmail.com. We understand that some students may need to ride with specific drivers, etc., and we ask that any of these needs be communicated as soon as possible. Trick or Treat So Kids Can Eat is a great way to give back to the community and celebrate Halloween; we hope to see you there.
