Working, presented by Westwood High School – BUY WORKING Tickets

The characters of Working are everybody you know! In the course of one twenty-four hour workday, you’ll meet and hear the stories of various non-fictional characters working through everyday situations. But this musical is anything but ordinary. Working paints a vivid portrait of the men and women that the world so often takes for granted: the schoolteacher, the waitress, the millworker, the mason, the trucker, the fireman and the housewife, just to name a few. It’s a highly original look at the American landscape that reveals the myriad of hopes, aspirations, and dreams of working people.

With the modest set and orchestra requirements, universal subject matter and featuring a multi-ethnic ensemble cast of variable size, Working is an accessible, relevant and meaningful musical experience.

Hunchback of Notre Dame, presented by McNeil High School – BUY HUNCHBACK Tickets

The musical begins as the bells of Notre Dame sound through the famed cathedral in fifteenth-century Paris. Quasimodo, the deformed bell-ringer who longs to be “Out There,” observes all of Paris reveling in the Feast of Fools. Held captive by his devious caretaker, the archdeacon Dom Claude Frollo, he escapes for the day only to be treated cruelly by all but the beautiful gypsy, Esmeralda. When untrustworthy Captain Phoebus and ruthless Frollo compete for Esmeralda’s favor, Frollo embarks on a mission to destroy the gypsies – and it’s up to Quasimodo to save them all.
