Round Rock High School This past weekend your Dragon Swim Team competed in the 6A State Meet at UT Austin. The kids swam exceptionally well, finishing in the top 8 in the entire state in seven out of the nine events in which they competed.
The team made it to podium with Vincent Ribeiro getting the Bronze Medal in the 200 IM and the Girls 200 Free relay team of Annie Wang, Sara Rattray, Cassondra Weeks and Rose Anconetani bringing home the Silver Medal!
The Girls Team finished 9th in the State and the Boys Team placed 12th in State. Below is a list of the students that represented RRHS at State. Please congratulate them on a great season if you get the chance.
- Boys 200 Individual Medley – 3rd place – Vincent Ribeiro
- Girls 200 Free Relay – 2nd place – Annie Wang, Sara Rattray, Cassondra Weeks, and Rose Anconetani
- Boys 200 Yard Medley Relay – 7th place – Adam Haig, Vincent Ribeiro, Jack Hansen, and Blake Ellinor
- 50 Freestyle – 8th place – Annie Wang
- 100 Freestyle – 7th place – Rose Anconetani
- 100 Backstroke – 17th place – Melissa Bartlett
- 100 Breaststroke – 8th place – Vincent Ribeiro
- Boys 400 Freestyle Relay – 8th place – Blake Ellinor, Adam Haig, Tristan Olstad, and Vincent Ribeiro
- Girls 400 Freestyle Relay – 11th place – Rose Anconetani, Annie Wang, Cassondra Weeks, and Sara Rattray
