Light Up Depression: #endthestigma

Mar 5, 2019

Light Up Depression: #endthestigma is an annual event at Round Rock High School focused on promoting mental health awareness in the Round Rock community. This year, our goal is to continue the honest, important conversation about mental illness. We also want to provide attendees with resources and support. This event is open to all students and staff at Round Rock High School. Parents and members of the Round Rock community are also invited to attend.
This year, this event will be held from 7:00 – 8:00 pm on March 14th, 2019, with doors opening for attendees at 6:00 pm. Main components of Light Up Depression will be held in the 1100 cafeteria, with additional rooms available in the 1300, 1400, and 1100 halls for counselors. From 6:00-7:00, organizations will have booths available for attendees to browse. These booths will be a combination of organizations from RRHS, the Round Rock community, and the Austin community. as well as tables of resources for students and parents. Starting at 7:00, attendees will gather in the 1100 cafeteria for the main features of the event. There will be guest speakers, performers, and a candle-lighting ceremony.
We hope that you can join us for this very important event.
