The senior year is different than every other year of a student’s career. One of the differences is how their class photo is handled. Seniors take their photos off campus at a local photography studio, Prestige Portraits. The studio provides the tux/drape needed for the yearbook photo and other options as well. You can take as many or as few photos as you wish. The yearbook photo is free to take and you are welcome to choose a more comprehensive option, but sitting fees will be attached to those other options.
In order to be in the yearbook, your child needs to be photographed by Prestige Portraits by November 2, 2019.
The closer to the deadline, the fuller their schedule gets and it may become impossible to find an appointment that works for you. Thus, having your child photographed this summer at a time that works for you is strongly encouraged.
The photo studio will send you a postcard reminding you to schedule an appointment. However, there have been times when parents have not received that post card. Please feel free to call the studio at 512-251-5558 to schedule an appointment. The studio officially opens on June 18th for photos. They will be open Tuesday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Students will NOT be photographed on campus with their classes. Because of publishing deadlines, photos taken after the Nov. 2 deadline will not be accepted. The yearbook staff would love to have 100 percent participation rates.
Yearbook ordering information and senior ad information will be included in the back to school packet, so please be on the lookout for it in the fall or contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
