Boys Golf Results

On November 10-11, the varsity boys traveled to Bastrop to play the beautiful, yet challenging, Hyatt Wolfdancer Golf Club resort course, coming up 1-shot short of tying eventual champion Lake Travis. The young men posted a 313 on Friday, led by senior Tyler Walters 75 and Jack Anderson’s 77, but were sitting in 4th place. The Dragons came into Saturday needing to make up 5 strokes to catch the leaders and did their part, posting the tournaments best round (307) of the 2-day tournament. Unfortunately, the leaders were able to fend off the Dragon charge. Pacing the Dragons on the weekend was senior Jack Anderson, who finished in 3rd place with rounds of 77-71. Junior Ian Strickland tallied a 157, followed by Hunter Haskins (158), Tyler Walters (159), Jace Caldwell (161) and Seth Carson (163).
