Dragon Band Success

Last Saturday, January 13th, 11 of our Dragon Band members participated in the TMEA Area competition held in Duncanville, Texas.  Below are the outstanding results.

EIGHT students earned positions in the TMEA All State Band!  This is the highest honor a high school student musician can achieve in the state of Texas.  These eight will take part in the TMEA Clinic and Convention from Wednesday, February 14th-Saturday, February 17th in San Antonio.  There they will participate as members of one of the All State bands rehearsing and performing along with students from the rest of the state for a life changing three days.  This is a remarkable accomplishment.

Several students are two time all staters!  Kaylee Pascarella, Sri Iyengar and Alex Deller – double congrats to them!
