Round Rock High School Young Justice Nerds Award
The Center for Policing Equity at John Jay Collge of Washington DC will welcome Zoe Mattson and Emma Lopez, along with their teacher Lynne Albright, to an awards dinner at the United States Institute of Peace on May 3, 2018 honoring their victory in The Young Justice Nerds competition! Zoe and Emma’s effort, an app to help police communicate with deaf citizens via sign language, was judged the best out of a field of entries aimed at promoting social justice in law enforcement via science and technology.
