Quiz Bowl Success!!

Saturday, April 21, 2018, a contingency from the RRHS Quiz Bowl team went to Seven Lakes High School in Katy, Texas to compete in the TQBA State Varsity Championships. Our team is in only its second year of existence and participated in Division II.

This was actually the first tournament that several of our players have ever attended. Even so, the team had their best tournament play record we’ve ever had, ending the day even at 4W-4L and even delivering a couple of crushing victories of 210-10 and 240-0. They placed 5th in the division overall and came home with a plaque!!! It’s the team’s first-ever award.
