Biomedical Innovations Class Field Trip
On Friday, April 27th, after almost a year in the works, the seniors in Biomedical Innovations classes got the rare opportunity to go behind the scenes at NASA. After having their backgrounds checked, students received clearance to the restricted areas and got a complete tour, where they learned about all the medical innovations and research at NASA as well as the job opportunities they offer. Students also were admitted to the Space Vehicle Mock Facility Center where they were able to observe Astronaut Suni Williams in training. NASA employees were extremely impressed with our students and asked them to apply for internships or call on them for guidance if they ever are interested in a job with NASA.
