Council for International Education Exchange (CIEE)

Round Rock High School was one of only a handful of high schools in the United States selected to earn the distinction of being named a Global Navigator School by the oldest non-profit study abroad organization in the United States, CIEE, the Council for International Education Exchange. This organization gives away $5,000,000 in scholarships EACH year for students to study abroad high school, college and gap semester/year! As a Global Navigator school, part of that money is earmarked for just the students on our campus! Last summer nine Dragons earned almost $25,000 to study abroad!
CIEE has a variety of programs, some of which enable students to earn college credits! Some are geared toward Language and Culture, others provide opportunities for Service and Leadership, while others provide rich experiences for Global Discovery. The programs run from 3-4 weeks long, depending on the program, and there are programs on 5 continents, in more than 30 destinations across the world!
Tuesday, September 24, there will be a representative on campus during the school day for 20-minute informational sessions in the 100 Lecture Hall. Additionally, Wednesday September 25, there will be a parent informational meeting in the 100 Lecture Hall from 6:00 – 7:00 PM. For more information, email Sra.
