October 19-December 17, 2020 Instructional Choice Survey- RRHS

Hello, thank you for completing this important survey. We are asking for this survey to be completed for all students even if you are not planning to change. This information will help us prepare the best learning environment. Those who do not respond to the survey will continue in their same learning environment.

Please note: If you choose to attend school in person, the plan is for students to remain in a learning pod and travel to Performing Arts, some CTE (Fashion Design [2 & Practicum], Print & Imaging Tech, Culinary Arts, Advanced Culinary Arts, and all Automotive classes), and Athletic classes (In season sports plus Basketball and soccer) from October 19 to November 6. Starting on November 9, assuming public health conditions continue on a positive trend, RRHS will resume a traditional schedule, where on-campus students will move around the building for all classes. During this time, virtual-only students will be afforded the opportunity to attend the referenced classes in person and return home. Students will continue with their same schedules and teachers.

While plans are to resume a traditional schedule on November 9, we could move to a traditional schedule earlier should a significant amount of students return to campus on October 19. A large number of students on campus would make it impossible to continue serving our students in a pod approach. By October 14, we will notify students of their assigned pod for October 19 or we will send out a school-wide message if we are beginning our traditional schedule that day.

In order to attend classes on the traditional schedule beginning in November, students must return to campus full time on October 19.

Please submit the survey only once for each student. If there are multiple responses for a student, the last response will be used. If you would like to change any of your selections during the survey window, please email Anne Roberts (anne_roberts@roundrockisd.org) with your updates.

October 19-December 17, 2020 Encuesta sobre opciones educativas- RRHS

Hola, gracias por completar esta importante encuesta. Solicitamos que todos los estudiantes completen esta encuesta, incluso si no planea cambiar. Esta información nos ayudará a preparar el mejor entorno de aprendizaje. Aquellos que no respondan a la encuesta continuarán en su mismo entorno de aprendizaje.

Tenga en cuenta: Si elige asistir a la escuela en persona, el plan es que los estudiantes permanezcan en un módulo de aprendizaje y viajen a Artes Escénicas, algunas clases de Educación Técnica y Profesional (CTE-Fashion Design [2 & Practicum], Print & Imaging Tech, Culinary Arts, Advanced Culinary Arts, and all Automotive) y algunas Clases de atletismo (deportes de temporada más baloncesto y fútbol) del 19 de octubre al 6 de noviembre. A partir del 9 de noviembre, asumiendo las condiciones de salud continúan en una tendencia positiva, RRHS reanudará un horario tradicional, donde los estudiantes en la escuela se moverán alrededor del edificio para todas las clases. Durante este tiempo, los estudiantes solo virtuales tendrán la oportunidad de asistir a las clases mencionadas en persona y regresar a casa. Los estudiantes continuarán con sus mismos horarios y maestros.

Aunque los planes son reanudar un horario tradicional el 9 de noviembre, podríamos cambiar a un horario tradicional antes si una cantidad significativa de estudiantes regresa a la escuela el 19 de octubre. Para el 14 de octubre, notificaremos a los estudiantes sobre su grupo asignado para el 19 de octubre o enviaremos un mensaje a toda la escuela si estamos comenzando nuestro horario tradicional ese día.

Para poder asistir a clases en el horario tradicional a partir de noviembre, los estudiantes deben regresar al campus a tiempo completo el 19 de octubre.
