Choir Success!!

This past week the state of Texas held the 1st round of the TMEA All-State choir auditions. We had 103 singers from RRHS submit recordings to TMEA for this round, where they were competing against singers from our region, Region 26. The Top 18 in each section make the region mixed choir and advance to Round 2 and the next 18 in treble sections make the region Treble choir. We had 45 make the Region mixed choir (which is the most in RRHS history), and 32 make the region Treble choir. This makes up about 35% of the available spots were from RRHS. We are so incredibly proud of these students and all of their hard work during this very trying time. If you see these students (whether virtual or in person) please congratulate them and wish them luck as those who are progressing on have a month till their next audition:
