Round Rock High School Choir Success!
This past week the RRHS choral department had 38 singers compete at Round 2 of the TMEA Region 26 All-Region/All-State choir process. At this round the Top 5 singers advance to Round 3 in January to compete for a spot in the Texas All-State choir. We are proud to announce that RRHS had 10 singers advance and an additional 3 were selected as alternates. This was by far the most in our region and all of the students that competed did very well. Here are the results:
Soprano 1: Cassie Chapman – 2nd chair
Soprano 2: Ava Moak – 3rd chair, Abby Justice – 6th chair (1st Alternate)
Alto 1: Madison White – 4th chair
Alto 2: Eleanor Williams – 3rd chair
Tenor 1: Adyn Meredith – 1st chair, Nico Falsone – 2nd chair, Roger Chavez – 4th chair
Tenor 2: Riyan Khandker – 1st chair, Joe Ramirez – 5th chair
Bass 1: Max Kitchen – 5th chair
Bass 2: Preston York – 6th chair (1st Alternate), Ryan Kelly – 7th chair (2nd alternate)
