UIL Ready Writing Success!

In the Ready Writing Contest, the students are given two hours to write expository compositions. They have a choice between two prompts, each an excerpt from literature, publications (past and present) or speeches.  The composition is judged on interest (60%), organization (30%) and correctness of style (10%).

Congratulations to Saachi Upadhyaya for placing in the top 3 and Toby Saunders-A’Court  for placing in the top 10 in the UIL Ready Writing essay competition this past Saturday.
