Class of 2021 Graduation and Commencement Ceremonies

 We are excited to announce that the district has updated our plans to allow our graduating seniors at Round Rock High School to choose how they would like to commemorate their milestone moment.

Seniors and their families have the option to participate in a traditional ceremony in the morning, with students seated on the football field for graduation speeches and recognitions before walking the stage to receive their diplomas, or a commencement walk in the evening.  View the 2020 Senior Commencement Walk experience.

 All events will take place at Kelly Reeves Athletic Complex, located at 10211 W. Parmer Lane in Austin.

 Seniors will receive a choice survey to select if they will participate in either the morning graduation ceremony or the evening commencement walk. Seniors must choose one of the two options.

 The RRHS Class of 2021 Graduation ceremonies will take place on May 25, 2021.

    •         Traditional ceremony begins at 8 a.m.

OR

    •         Commencement walk from 6 to 8 p.m.

 Seniors are allowed to bring up to 10 guests to either event. All attendees are asked to wear masks, practice appropriate social distancing, and remain together throughout the ceremony. At the traditional ceremonies, families and guests are seated in the stands and will not be allowed onto the field. For the commencement walk, guests will walk on the field with their graduates.

Be on the lookout for communications from your school to complete the choice survey and for updates about your graduation events.

In the event of rain, graduation ceremonies and commencement walks may be delayed or rescheduled. Seniors and families will be alerted by email and text and updates will be posted on Round Rock ISD’s Facebook and Twitter if delays or rescheduling are needed. If necessary, rescheduled events will take place May 30 and 31 at Kelly Reeves Athletic Complex.

 

CAP AND GOWN ORDERS

Browse and shop for your school’s graduation products online at Herff Jones Overall Recognitions website. Orders are delivered to your school in April. Schools will coordinate and notify you about the pick-up process.
