Round Rock High School Senior Activities on PSAT Day, October 13, 2021
October 13th is a C Day where 10th and 11th grade students will be taking the PSAT test on campus. Seniors will have a variety of rotations and activities on this day, while working to fulfill requirements for graduation per Texas Education Code.
In the morning, there will be opportunities to take the TSI and ASVAB tests. If you are interested in either of these testing opportunities, please let your Counselor know as soon as possible. Your Counselor should have discussed TSI/ASVAB testing with you in your Senior meeting.
Any student not taking the TSI and ASVAB test will participate in Senior Rotations in the morning from 9:05-11:30 am. During these rotations, students will complete the Interaction with a Peace Officer Training and Hands On CPR Training, required for Graduation. Other rotations include FAFSA/Scholarship Info, Common App/Apply Texas Info, and a Workforce/Trade School Fair. Students who are already CPR complete will not be required to perform the CPR rotation. If you have already obtained a CPR certification, please complete the following Google Form by Friday, October 1st. Note, online CPR trainings do not meet the hands-on experience component required for graduation.
Senior English teachers will be offering an optional College Essay workshop both in the morning and afternoon, after lunch. Students electing to attend the morning workshop may miss some of the optional rotations (not required for graduation). Students can sign up for the College Essay Workshop here before the Friday, October 1st deadline!
Students will attend 4th/8th period on this day and attendance will be taken. Students will receive an email with your assigned classroom and teacher prior to October 13th so that you will know where to report that morning.
