Round Rock High School Yearbook Success!
The National Scholastic Press Association announced their best of show winners this weekend. Last year’s Dragon yearbook placed second in the country!
Because of the current pandemic situation, schools did not have to be in attendance at the conference to enter. This allowed an even greater range of competition. Yearbooks are divided into three classifications based on their number of pages. We are in the middle classification. (Yes, there are books that have more pages than ours, believe it or not.)
Most of last year’s staff completed the book from home last year. Only three staff members ever came to school. To place this high in the competition is a great achievement for the kids. To do it under these circumstances is almost miraculous.
