Prearranged Early Release Information – Fall 2021 Final Exams

Attendance Prearranged Early Release –  DURING FINALS WEEK (12/13 – 12/16.)

During exam week, there are study sessions scheduled in the afternoon.

• • 1:29 First Lunch/Study Hall
  • 1:59 Study Hall/Second Lunch
  • 2:40 Study Session Begin
  • 4:20 End Study Session

Students will be assigned locations for study sessions as follows:

• • Freshmen in the 700 cafeteria

  • Sophomores in the 100 gym

  • Juniors/Seniors in the 1100 cafeteria

Some senior students will receive an email with an appointment time to complete their CPR and/or Peace Officer Training in the afternoons during the study sessions. These trainings are graduation requirements.

Pre-arranged Release

• Parents/Guardians who wish to check their students out early are encouraged to expedite the process of signing their students out of school by submitting the Final Exam Pre-Arranged Early Release Request by Friday, December 10th.  This gives us an opportunity to contact you, the parent/guardian, and verify guardianship.

• Students who have been pre-approved for early dismissal will be allowed to leave their designated areas at the pre-arranged time to meet their rides. Juniors and Seniors who drive themselves will be allowed to head out to the parking lot at the arranged time.   Parents will not have to enter the building for pre-arranged pick-ups.

Regular Parent Pick-Up 

• Parents/Guardians who do not make arrangements in advance (by using the process listed above) can sign their students out at the 1200 Main Office located off Deep Wood Drive.  Due to the number of students we historically have picked up early during exams, wait times might be considerable for those who do not pre-arrange pick up.  Student safety is a top concern; therefore, phone calls and faxes are not accepted for early pickups as they do not allow us to verify guardianship.
