Academy Night – January 26, 2022

On January 26th, from 6:00 to 8:00pm, Round Rock High School invites 8th and 9th grade students and parents to explore the different programs of study offered at RRHS at our annual Academy Night. A schedule of events is below:

6:00 and 7:00 Advanced academics information session (1100 lecture hall)

6:00 – 8:00 counselors available for questions (library)

6:00 – 8:00 teachers and student available for questions about the following programs of study*:

Finance

Marketing

Fashion Design

Education and Training

Game Programming and Design

Graphic Design and Illustration

Journalism: Newspaper

Journalism: Yearbook

Biomedical Sciences

Health Science Theory and Practice

Sports Medicine

Orchestra

Tours led by our Academy Ambassadors will be offered every thirty minutes from the tour booth in the gym to showcase the following programs of study:

Business Management – Round Rock Co-op Grand Opening (School Store)

Automotive Technology (1000 building auto shop)

Culinary (1140 Culinary Lab)

Printshop (942 Printshop Lab)

Law Enforcement and Law and the Legal System (1408 Courtroom)

MCJROTC (1000 building)

Health Science: Theory and Practice

Biomedical

A+ Credit Union will also have the school branch open, so stop by and find out about opening an account for you or your student.

*Academy related clubs will also be on hand during this time to answer questions about the opportunities they can offer students.
