Quick update on our winter guard programs at RRHS.
Our Cadet Guard (Middle School) took home the silver medal in Cadet Novice class last weekend at the Texas Color Guard Circuit Area West Championships! They placed 2nd and 3rd at two other local competitions during the season and competed against HS teams at a WGI Regional for the first time ever, earlier this month.
Our JV team is competing for the final time at Georgetown HS tomorrow at 7:51 pm. This is their championships event! They are doing a send-off performance tonight at 7:30 pm in the 100 gym. All are welcome!
The Varsity will perform tomorrow at Georgetown at 10:25 am.
Next weekend they will compete at TCGC State at A&M College Station.
They are attending World Championships for the first time since 2017. Their send-off performance is April 6th at 7:30 pm in the 100 gym. We depart for Ohio on the 11th and return on the 16th. They will get to see all of the very best winter guards in the world! Yes, there are teams from around that world that attend WGI Championships in gloomy Dayton, Ohio.
