Senior Awards

The Senior Awards Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, April 26th at 6:30 pm in the 1100 Cafeteria. Invited seniors should plan to arrive no later than 6:00 pm to check in at the 1100 Library.  During this ceremony, we will recognize seniors who have achieved a 4.0 GPA during high school, as well as any scholarships and awards our graduates have earned. Invited seniors have received a formal invitation via mail and email. Questions can be directed to Sarah Lowery at Sarah_Lowery@roundrockisd.org.

Herff Jones Campus Delivery Dates for Seniors

Representatives from Herff Jones will be on campus on Monday, April 24th to distribute caps, gowns, and any outstanding orders in the cafeteria during all lunches. 

Graduation Tickets

Graduation tickets will be distributed beginning Saturday, May 6th. All tickets will require a parent/guardian signature and photo ID.  

Please note only the parent(s)/guardian(s) or emergency contact listed in Home Access Center will be allowed to pick up tickets. Graduates may not pick up tickets for their family.

 Ticket Pickup

***RRHS is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets.  At this time, no additional tickets are available.  As a reminder, graduates do not require a ticket for entry. 

Senior Graduation Form

All seniors should complete the following Google Form for Graduation.  Please use this form to indicate phonetic pronunciation of your name and transportation needs after the ceremony.  All seniors should plan to complete this form no later than Friday, May 12th. 

 

Senior Walks

Each year, our RRHS graduates have the opportunity to visit the RRISD feeder elementary and middle school campuses for a Senior Walk. Senior Walks are scheduled for Wednesday, May 24th with Elementary campuses from 8:00-10:00 am and Middle School campuses from 10:00 am-12:00 pm. Students are responsible for their own transportation to and from feeder campuses.

Graduation Practice

Graduation Practice will be held on Wednesday, May 24th, 2023 from 1:30-3:30 pm in the 1100 Gym.  Graduation Practice is mandatory for all students planning to participate in the Graduation Ceremony. Students should plan to stay for the entirety of the practice.  

Students should arrive in cap & gown and stay for the entirety of practice. Practice will conclude with the Class of 2023 Panoramic Photo.  Students should plan to turn in any remaining obligations (Chromebooks, textbooks, and any outstanding obligations) on this day.  

 

Graduation at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park

Graduates will meet in the 1100 Gym at Round Rock High School no later than 5:15 pm on Thursday, May 25th, 2023. Graduates should arrive with cap/gown, dressed for Graduation. All graduates will ride to the H-E-B Center in RRISD Transportation. 

Graduates are encouraged to be dropped off.  Please leave wallets, keys, purses at home or with family members.  Graduates will pass through a metal detector upon arrival at the H-E-B Center. 

All graduates are required to wear the RRHS cap and gown.  Students should dress in school appropriate clothing.  Student attire may include dress pants, dress shirt, tie, dresses, dress shoes, tennis shoes, and platform heels.  Stiletto heels or uncomfortable shoes are discouraged.

Students may decorate their mortarboard (cap).  All decorated caps should be 2 dimensional and school appropriate.

Project Grad

Project Grad is a nationally recognized alcohol, drug, and smoke free celebration. This event provides high school graduates a safe alternative to celebrate all their accomplishments with their peers. 

The Round Rock High School Class of 2023 event will be a super fun event at the Round Rock Sports Center with fun, entertainment, great food, and BIG prizes!

Project Grad

Academy Stoles-Now Available in the Co-Op

Academy stoles are available for purchase in the School Store: RRHS Co-Op. Stoles are available for $20 for purchase.  Qualifying students and parent/guardian will receive a confirmation email with stole eligibility.  Students must present a copy of their email and their student ID to purchase a stole.  

Parents are welcome to purchase a stole at the school store, but must check in at the main office and obtain a Visitor badge. Parents must have a copy of their stole qualification email and their student’s School ID to purchase the stole.

 Please note:  No refunds on Academy stole purchases. Only the qualifying student, parent, or guardian will be able to purchase the stole with a copy of this email AND a student ID.  The RRHS Co-Op accepts cash, check, Apple Pay, or credit card. A receipt will be provided with every purchase.

 

Still Need a Cap and Gown?

Cap and Gown packages are still available from Herff Jones for $43.95. Please note, rush order fees apply in order to guarantee order fulfillment prior to Graduation. Senior Chromebooks

You can turn in your chromebook early if you are not using it and are using a personal laptop. You will need a device to turn in assignments for the remainder of the school year, so do not turn in your chromebook if you need it.  Please turn in your chromebook anytime to the Chromebook Center in the library. All chromebooks need to be turned in during Senior Exams, May 17th-May 24th. Final Exam Schedule and Seniors’ Last Day

Senior Final Exams are scheduled for Wednesday, May 17th through Tuesday, May 23rd.  The exam schedule is below. All students will follow a normal schedule during Senior Exams. 

Wednesday, May 17th (A): 3rd/4th Period Exams

Thursday, May 18th (B): 7th/8th Period Exams

Friday, May 19th: C Day/No Final Exams-Senior Signing Event

Monday, May 22nd (A): 2nd/1st Period Exams

Tuesday, May 23rd (B): 6th/5th Period Exams/Last Day of Class for Seniors

 

Senior Walks are scheduled for the morning of Wednesday, May 24th. Students should report to the 1100 Gym at 1:30 pm for Graduation Practice afterward. 

 

FAFSA Reminder

All graduates are required to complete the FAFSA, TASFA, or opt out form to satisfy graduation requirements.  If you have not previously completed this step, please share your email confirmation or opt out letter with your counselor. Please contact your counselor with any questions.
