Round Rock High School 
Join us at the second annual Future Educators Signing Day on Thursday May 18th at 8:05am in the 1100 Lecture Hall. We have 4 RRHS seniors in the Education and Training program that have satisfied the requirements and have the honor of receiving a Letter of Intent from RRHS Human Resources. This guarantees them an interview for a teaching position in the district after completing their degree program and getting their teaching certification. The students receiving this are listed below

- Mia Menchaca – UT @ Austin
- Sarah Shelton – TXST
- Paige McCleary – TXST
These students have been working hard during their field site internships the past two years learning the ins and outs of lesson planning and implementation, grading, providing feedback, and designing instruction. In order to be eligible for the Letter of Intent they had to meet many requirements including maintaining an 85 or above in all Education and Training coursework, having no more than 3 unexcused absences in the current year, having 80+ service hours or holding a leadership position, and creating an electronic teaching portfolio that scored above an 80 on a rubric.
This is a great accomplishment for these seniors and we would love for you to join in celebrating them on May 18th! Hope to see you there.
