The yearbooks are arriving earlier than expected. I thought we could get something out on Friday, but that’s when we will now distribute. Can we send this out ahead of time?
Here’s the information:
Round Rock High School yearbooks are expected to arrive on campus this week. We expect to pass them out to students on Friday, May 5.
The distribution table will be located in the 1200 hallway near the bell. Students should bring a photo ID to any table where a yearbook staff member will look them up and give them the appropriate yearbook. Distribution will run from 8: 25 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
To check to see if you have purchased a yearbook for your child, please visit this list.
We have a very limited number of extra books available. Those will be sold on Friday on a first come first serve basis. Books must be paid for in cash. Any remaining books will be sold at $100.
Frequently asked questions:
Q. I didn’t purchase a yearbook ahead of time, but can I reserve one now?
Unfortunately, no. We have had to temporarily shut down sales in order to allow us to communicate properly and make sure there are enough books to account for any damages that might occur in shipping. Anyone wishing to still purchase a book must come to the “Help Desk” at Friday’s distribution.
Q. What happens if you sell out?
We will start a waiting list. Any books that remain after the last day of school are eligible to be resold so we will release those books in June.
Q. What if my student is not available on Friday to pick up their book?
We highly encourage everyone to pick up their yearbook on Friday since we don’t have a lot of storage room. However, if a student can not pick up the yearbook on Friday, they can come to room 2301 any time after Friday.
Q. What happens if they don’t have an ID?
To speed up the process, students really need a photo ID of some sort. Students can use a RRHS or ACC ID. They can even use a drivers license. If they do NOT have an ID, they can come see Mrs. Kubicek at the help desk and she will help, but the process will take longer.
Q. Can someone else pick up my child’s yearbook?
Unfortunately, no. We really have to hand the book to the correct child so we can track our distribution. If an extenuating circumstance exists, please communicate with Mrs. Kubicek and we will try to make alternate arrangements.
Q. What happens if it is lost or stolen?
Lost or stolen books can not be replaced. Please encourage your child to write their name in their book and keep it with them. Don’t leave it alone anywhere!
Q. What if my child is in an AP test on Friday?
Distribution will occur between 8:25 and 3:30. Anyone taking an AP test should still have the opportunity to pick up their book either before or after their test.
Q. I ordered accessories. When should we expect those?
We will begin the accessory distribution starting tomorrow. Yearbook staff members will bring the accessories to students who ordered them.
Q. Why can’t the yearbook staff hand deliver books to students?
Because we have sold 1750 books, this simply isn’t practical.
Q. Can you mail my yearbook?
Yearbooks can be mailed home for an additional $15. We must receive payment for postage before they can be mailed out. Please email Mrs. Kubicek for further instructions if you need this option.
Q. What happens if we can’t pick up the yearbook by the end of the school year?
Books not picked up by the last day of school are subject to resell. Again, because we have limited storage options, we need everyone to pick up their book as quickly as possible.
