Varsity Boys, JV Boys, & Varsity Girls Capture 2019 RRHS Invitational Track and Field Meet Championships

On Saturday, March 2nd, the Dragon Track and Field teams participated in the 2019 Round Rock Invitational Track and Field Meet.

Varsity Boys captured the team title with a one point victory over Killeen Ellison (165 to 164 points). JV Boys sprinted to the title as well in the Junior Varsity division, out-distancing Belton (152.5 to 94 points). Both teams had outstanding performances throughout the day. In the final event of the evening, the Dragon 4 x 400 M Relay team placed second to secure the team championship. The JV squad scored points in 14 of 17 events.

The Varsity Girls and JV Girls teams competed very well, and the Varsity Girls ended the meet as champions.  The mile relay was the deciding factor in the end result, and the Varsity Girls finished ahead of Cedar Park to secure the championship.
