SAT Day: Wednesday, March 6, 2019
The SAT Exam will be administered to all 11th-grade students at Round Rock High School, free of charge. This year the district made arrangements for juniors to take the SAT with Essay, adding roughly an hour to the exam. As a result of this change, juniors will be on an amended schedule while the rest of the campus will be business as usual. Testers will report to their assigned room, with room assignments posted in the 1200 Atrium. Testers will complete the paperwork and initial preparations then break for brunch, beginning at 10:15 and lasting until 10:55. Testing will begin at 11:00 and take place in the 1200 building. The exam will last until approximately 3:45 PM.
Students are encouraged to bring:
- their own calculator to use on one of the math sections of the SAT. Click on the here for a list of approved calculators and the policy. A calculator is not required but highly recommended.
- bring pointy #2 pencils (non-mechanical, as they are prohibited)
- their photo identification.
- a non-messy snack.
- bottled water.
