Round Rock High School Art Student Success!!
Congratulations to the following senior art students who won scholarships through the annual 5×5 Art Competition sponsored by the Round Rock Art Education Association. Each student won a $500 scholarship for their excellence in art, will continue their education, and will pursue art careers in many different forms! We’d like to thank the Round Rock Art Education Association for sponsoring this event and the various RRISD art teachers who made their own 5×5″ artworks to be sold as a fundraiser for these scholarships.
- Ryan Losier will be attending Austin Community College to pursue Art Education.
- Amanda Nino will be attending Baylor University and majoring in Psychology with a minor in Studio Art in order to work in Art Therapy.
- Samantha Salazar will be attending Rhode Island School of Design for Studio Art.
- Gracie Speer will also be attending Baylor and will study Apparel Design and Merchandising.
