Dragon Choir Success!!

This past Saturday, January 16th, we had 10 singers compete at the TMEA Area D Vocal Contest that determined who made the 2020-2021 Texas All-State Choirs. This is the highest honor a student musician in the state of Texas can achieve.

Please congratulate senior Eleanor Williams who placed 2nd chair in the Alto 2 room and made the Texas All-State Mixed choir. This is her second time making the All-State Choir.

We also had two 1st alternate singers who each placed 8th in their section: senior Riyan Khandker, tenor 2 & freshman Adyn Meredith, tenor 1.

Please congratulate all students that competed this year in this modified contest. They exemplified perseverance and determination. They truly helped the Dragon light shine!
