Round Rock High School Golf Success!!
Varsity Boys:
The varsity boys team participated in the Hutto Fall Invitational Golf Tournament at Star Ranch Golf Club on Monday, October 30 and turned in the championship score of 296, 13 shots ahead of the 2nd place finisher and besting 27 other teams in attendance. The mighty Dragons were led by senior Jack Anderson, who posted his 3rd under-par round of the year with a -1 (70). Following closely behind was junior Ian Strickland (73), senior Jace Caldwell (74), senior Tyler Walters (75), senior Seth Carson (78) and senior Hunter Haskins (81).
Girls:
The girls golf team participated in the Hutto Fall Invitational Golf Tournament on October 31 and walked away with some hardware, finishing in 3rd place (out of 22 teams). The Lady Dragons, playing in just their second tournament of the year, started off rusty, but eventually got into their groove as best they can on this cold and windy day. Leading the way was junior Lily Gulley (75), followed by sophomore Savannah Wilder (89), and junior Kate Montreuil (92). Other team members were sophomore Chloe Stoever (93) and freshman Mariah Kull (118).
